Red Nose Day 2015

Today, Clifton All Saints Academy followed the example of Dermot O’Leary and danced the day away. Each class had a morning session in the hall with Klarissa, a local Dance Teacher, warming up and then dancing to a variety of different tracks. The dancing continued throughout the morning, including playtime, and even through the lunchtime! In the afternoon, parents were invited to join their children for a second dance session, continuing the fun and exercise through to the end of the day, when a final assembly brought the fun and laughter together in photos, videos and thanks to Klarissa for all her hard work and patience. Children gave a voluntary donation to Comic Relief as part of the day, but the focus was on having fun and being healthy, with Red Noses being evident everywhere! Headteacher Mrs Ward said “Funny, fit and fantastic just about sums up the day, with valuable funds being raised for a great cause. All the staff and children had a great time doing something they enjoy, whilst keeping fit and helping others”.
